It is also gaining status as a first class destination for Golfers. The city of Murcia itself stands on the banks of the river and offers many fantastic bars and restaurants for you to experience. It also offers excellent shops.

Getting There

You can fly to Alicante or to San Javier on most of the budget airlines (Ryanair, Easy Jet, Jet2.com etc). In 2012 the new international airport at Corvera is scheduled to open which will offer yet another means of access. New roads have recently been completed providing first class access to the resort itself. It can also be reached by rail.
